Snorkeling and Shore Dive

Come and meet your fellow club members and get to know what’s happening at DOUTS!

Committee members will be there to answer any diving-related questions you may have and let yall know what we have in store for this semester. You'll also be able to meet some of our other members so you can organise some of your own dives!

This is a nice easy dive - so perfect if you are a beginner diver. If it's been more than 12 months since your last dive we'll have an instructor there who can run you through a refresher, just please make sure you select that when you book onto the event.

Shelly Beach has lots of marine life due to it being a marine reserve, such as port jackson sharks, weedy seadragons, cuttlefish, and loads of other fish! Bear in mind however that DOUTS encourages all members to have minimal interaction with the environment, and take nothing except photos and memories! Please be mindful that dive gear rental is only for members who are certified and have provided a copy of their diving certification to us for approval.

Food: BBQ Sausages, Salad, snacks (Vegetarian and vegan options available, please specify this when registering)

Activities: Snorkeling and shore dive.

Free BBQ for members! Please ensure you register so we know how many people to cater for.

If you require dive gear this will cost extra and is only avalible to those with approved certifications. Please fill in the option when registering and if there are any issues please let me know.

Remember DOUTS doesn't have any masks, wetsuits, or fins so please contact your local dive shop for these items. Dive Centre Manly is the closest shop on your way to the beach for this event. 

Please register your interest for this event online on the DOUTS website.  If you wish to bring a guest, please let the event organiser know for catering and security purposes.
